ORKKA International is Culture!
For over a decade ORKKA International has been promoting shows, concerts and music festivals showcasing great Cape Verdean artists. In partnership with Music of Job, we have been working and producing talented Cape Verdean artists such as Rosa Mestre, Djim Job, Ne Nas and Denis Mota. We manage these artists as well as other amazing Cape Verdean artists like Cesar Lima, Roy Tabwa, Dulce Matias, Chantel Baptista and Glanzer Mar, among others with the goal of promoting and sharing the beautiful and passionate music of Cape Verde. Most of these great artists have performed internationally and demonstrated their richness and variety in excellent live shows.
Other talented, international professionals we work with include musicians, event promoters, videographers, writers, photographers, graphic designers, plastic artists, poets, and music agents in Cape Verde and in other parts of the world to promote their amazing (art)work and make their work available to you.
Our artists’ albums/projects have been passionately crafted for music lovers all over the world to enjoy. These albums’ fine lyrics, rich and diverse melodies, harmonies and rhythms reflect our global music philosophy that music has no frontier. We record and perform a variety of music genres such as Coladeira, Funk, Samba, Reggae, Semba, Morna, Batuku, Mazurka, Bossa Nova, Funana, Jazz, and mellower tunes, creating a fountain where listeners can relish the experience of one of the richest music heritage archipelagos in the world, CABO VERDE.
